"Business Made Easy" summit on the morning of the awards, 28th Nov

At SME Advisor, our strength lies in our ability to reach out to the business community and encourage dialogue between various stakeholders. The SME Advisor "Business Made Easy" Summit, held on the morning of our awards, is an event that helps forge relationships, exchange knowledge, and open doors for business.

The summit will be a half day event covering key business issues and advice. It will consist of one panel discussion and three simultaneous breakout sessions or workshops. We have also set aside time for one-on-one consultations with subject matter experts.

11:10 to 11:40 Inspiring business case study Mumbai’s very own Dabbawalas!
Mumbai’s Dabbawala’s have been given a six sigma rating and are recognised as one of the most reliable supply chains in the world – despite the fact that they do not rely on technology and most of the delivery staff/member-shareholders are not very literate. When Prince Charles visited them during his visit to India, even he had to fit in with their timings, as their tight collection and delivery schedule did not allow for any flexibility.
11:40 to 11:50 Coffee break
11:50 to 13:20 Panel discussion: Business in the brave new world - coming to terms with changed economic realities”

It will cover:

· Starting out on your own – living your entrepreneurial dream

· Making do with limited finances

·
 Reassessing strategies, offerings and markets

·
 Is the slowdown finally over?

·
Recovering, and protecting your business from future shocks
